The Celina Turkey Trot presented by Celina Lifestyle brings more than just a race to Celina. It's a celebration of community, with music, running, and awards for the whole family. Dress up in your favorite Thanksgiving-themed costume, and make memories that will last a lifetime. Join us in Celina for Thanksgiving Day festivities including a 5K and 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk to prepare your body for a day of tradition!
A portion of our proceeds will benefit Lovepacs: the mission of Lovepacs is to engage communities to feed children in need as an expression of Love. We are proud to support this great organization. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female for the overall and masters categories. Also, age group awards, 3 deep, will be given for the following groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over. Grinch gallop - 2024

Start off your Christmas festivities with the Grinch Gallop! You can run, walk, gallop, or skip your way through the country roads of Van Alstyne, TX. The Grinch Gallop will be chip timed, allowing you to compete for awards; and all participants will receive a grinch-themed finisher medal, race shirt (jersey hooded t-shirt, long sleeve) , and grinch donut.
Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female for the overall and masters categories. Also, age group awards, 3 deep, will be given for the following groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over. |

veterans day ruck march - 2024
Join our Celina Police Department on November 11, 2024 for a FREE event: a military-themed 3-mile ruck march! This event is open to everyone. Fill your rucksacks with weight, or just carry what you are comfortable with, or just come out to walk with us. Marchers will complete a 3-mile route with Chief Cullison setting a 15:00/mile pace and other officers motivating you on a more relaxed pace. This event is FREE, but if you want to add on a race shirt, you'll have the option to purchase at check out.
celina 5K & Kids fun run - 2025
Join our 3rd annual Celina 5K and Kids Fun Run on January 11, 2025. Choose from a 5K option or a 1K Fun Run, tailored to give our younger runners a nice introduction to running. All participants receive an awesome finisher medal and race shirt! Bonus: all race photos are FREE!
This event is chip timed and awards will be giving in the following categories:
Age groups - 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & over
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be given in each category for male and female.
